Bonding allows us to close spaces between teeth, change the shape of unsightly teeth and also whiten dark or stained teeth.

A material called composite resin in bonded to the teeth by first applying a conditioning gel, placing and shaping the composite resin and then hardening it with a high intensity blue light.

Once in place the bonded resin is very strong and the procedure can usually be carried out in one appointment.

The disadvantage of bonding is gradual discolouration with red wine, smoking, coffee and tea.
